 Pat is co-owner of Healing Movements Yoga Centre, and runs the studio and the HMYTT with her sister Jody.  


Pat truly believes yoga is for everyone, no matter what mobility issues may surface (physical, emotional or mental) and with a focus on yoga for depression and anxiety, Pat's classes are gentle and meditative with extreme attention

She encourages her students to be open and accepting of where they are today yet continuing to challenge them to strive beyond their boundaries. She teaches students to be observing of their own bodies and have greater alignment in their poses.

 The nurturing connection, healing support and the wonderful community of gentle yoga resonates deeply with Barbara.  Guiding students on an exploration into a bliss state of release, relaxation and reconnecting through gentle and restorative movements brings her joy.  She loves sharing the many positive benefits yoga has on our mind, body & souls.  

Barbara completed her 200-hour RYT in 2014; 300-hour RYT in 2015 and with her 500-hour RYT training with Healing Movements she experienced a deeper connection to listening to her body, being kinder to herself, and releasing self-expectations helped significantly in her healing journey from a brain injury.

Youngsun started practicing yoga for her mental health as well as physical health. Then, she realized yoga has much more to offer than just health benefits. It made her smile and filled her with a sense of joy and gratitude every time. Also, yoga has helped her feel more connected with herself, nature, and the world.


After completing the 

 

Youngsun started practicing yoga for her mental health as well as physical health. Then, she realized yoga has much more to offer than just health benefits. It made her smile and filled her with a sense of joy and gratitude every time. Also, yoga has helped her feel more connected with herself, nature, and the world.


After completing the 500hr yoga teacher training at Healing Movements, Youngsun decided to dedicate all her time and energy to teaching yoga. Her class focuses on being in the present moment by observing breath and noticing the physical and emotional sensations in the body. Her Gentle Hatha classes help calm and relax body and mind; her Strong Hatha teaches how to keep breathing and stay calm even in the most challenging situations. 


Youngsun is looking forward to sharing this beautiful practice with you.

Jasmin’s relationship with yoga began roughly 10 years ago.   She had no idea what it meant to “do yoga”.   “I now understand that yoga is so much more than stretching. It is a full experience of the mind body and soul. A connection to something beautiful”. 


Jasmin completed her 200hr training with Marianne Wells in Costa Rica then went on

In Jasmin’s classes you will experience the 8 limbs of yoga. It is her goal to hold a judgment free space where students can grow.  She uses an approach which is both gentle and strengthening,  it is her goal for both student and teacher to be carrying their groceries at age 80. 

Yoga is  not about touching your toes.
